Plain English. No surprises.
I’m James O’Hara. I run autohmate as a one-person consultancy, and I treat your data the way I’d want mine treated. Here’s exactly what happens.
What gets collected
- Your name, work email, and message, when you send the form on /talk. The submitting IP address is stored alongside the lead for rate-limiting and spam control.
- Messages you send the chat demo on /talk. The conversation lives in your browser session and isn’t saved to a database here. The model provider (Anthropic) processes each message to generate a reply — standard for any hosted model.
- Basic first-party analytics. Page views and a handful of events (like “form sent”) are logged on this site’s own server, with the IP reduced to a truncated hash. No cookies, no third-party trackers, no ad pixels.
How long it’s kept
Leads (your name, email, and message) are kept until I follow up and either we start working together or you tell me to delete them. Analytics logs are plain files on the server and stay until I clear them. Demo conversations aren’t persisted; they disappear when you close the tab.
Who it’s shared with
Nobody, beyond the infrastructure that has to touch it. Leads come to me only. They’re not sold, traded, syndicated to a list, or fed into a marketing platform. The third parties involved are: the hosting infrastructure that serves the site, Anthropic when the chat demo on /talk generates a reply, and Telegram when a new lead is forwarded to me as a private notification so I see it quickly. That notification contains what you submitted (name, email, message) and goes only to me.
How to delete your data
Email [email protected] and ask. I’ll delete your lead and any associated context and confirm by reply within a business day.
Changes
If this policy changes in any material way, I’ll update this page. There’s no mailing list to notify because there isn’t one to begin with.
